
Yeah, I know. She's moved onto other things (motherhood! movies!) but I've still got big love for the Buffinator. And actually I've been coveting this hairstyle for months and finally got up the energy to do it. Dude, those braids take forever! I purposely didn't speed up the film so you get a slow, step-by-step on this hair-do.
What you need:

Goody crystal elastics (they're clear and don't distract from the hairstyle)
Hair pins (shape the look)
Bobby pins (secure the look)
To create the messy, wild bun in the back I teased my curls first and then pulled them back, pinning them strand by strand. Shape the look with your hair pins and experiment with how wild you want it...

Note on the braid: I do an easy "cheat" french braid where I only pick-up pieces from the front and not pieces from the back. If you do this look with a real french braid, I'd love to see/hear about your results!
