I've wanted to try the Chanel tattoos for ages!
Naturally I was thrilled when Allouchka of Allouchka Beauty Face sent me a packet to play with. The designs were hand drawn by CHANEL's creative director Peter Phillips and they are
The sparrows & chains all have a 3d effect that is stunning
My friend Susan (and salsa-dance-partner-in-crime)
came over & let me tattoo her
For her back I chose 2 sparrows connected by a gorgeous chain
Are you kidding me? The detail is hot hot hot
we work it out at BHB's! get a little friday attitude up in here!
then I got in on the sparrow action...
(in case you could care less wondering - this is the same twist hairdo that I showed you in the femme fatale video here)

ReplyDeletefuwari: really - you don't see the artistry in these? I think they're so lovely and fun. I wouldn't personally get a tattoo (too permanent) but I'm really enjoying these. The fact that they're "Chanel" doesn't mean so much to me .. I simply love the uniqueness & craftsmanship.
The detailing is beautiful! the swallows have a bit of innocence and sexiness at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOh, they sure are gorgeous. But I would much rather see these as patterns on clothes or as accessories. Something about ink on the body is so very off-putting to me.
