DIY Jar of Lights

Inspired by this image I saw on pinterest, I decided to create a jar of lights for a dark area of my kitchen and for my garden when entertaining guests over the holidays (we have 2 Mexican style fireplaces outside so we're able to stay warm on the chilliest of evenings)
 1. I bought a large glass jar at target for $19

2. filled it with small, clear lights

3. Here's how it looked indoors in my kitchen:

and outside pre-party before night fell
